GOALS. ROUTINE. TO-DO LIST
Many of us are confused about this. Even I also, I always think my to do list are the same as my routine but it's not. But your goals are different from your routine and to-do list.
We are all pursuing something. There is something we want to get and achieve but without the right knowledge, it may be difficult for you to achieve it.
Let's understand the 3 main topic here, GOAL, ROUTINE AND TO-DO LIST.
WHAT ARE GOALS?
Goals are long-term aspirations and desire. It is a big picture of what you want to achieve. Goals are like dreams. It's one thing to have a dream, but when you decide to fulfill that dream, it turns into a goal because all you want is to fulfill that dream. Goals is like a road map. It provides directions and purpose in life. Goals are what guides you to take actions towards your decision.
For example, if it is your dream to be a successful woman, you have set it as a goal.
Now what are the actionable task towards your goal?
If your goal in a month is to write a book.. Your actionable task will be
1. Make research and write a draft
2. Write first outline
3. Write 2 chapters
5. Write 1 chapters
And so on like that.
When you stay committed to it, you see yourself fulfilling your dreams.
We will all have fulfilled our dreams if we set goals and stay committed to every task we set.
Goals cannot be fulfilled in a day. It takes time. We need to break down our goals into task. It will turn out to be like an assignment we must do daily.

Goals are big and broad, and they require sustained effort, time and commitment to accomplish.
WHAT ARE ROUTINE?
Routine are your habitual behavior that you carry out without much thought. A routine is a set of regular activities that you set consistently each day or week.
Routines help you stay on track. They are those things you must do every morning or night. Routines help you stay organized and give you a sense of order in your day to day life.
Examples of a Routine are
1. Waking up 6am every morning
2. Having your devotion
3. Morning exercise
4. Taking a walk
5. Brush your teeth.. Etc
Gradually, you find yourself doing it continuously and unknowingly. Routines also contribute to your progress towards your goals by creating a structure. They are daily actions that you take to create consistency, improve habits and build discipline over time.
WHAT ARE TO-DO LIST?
To-do list are the immediate and tangible steps you need to take in order to move forward. To-do list can be changed everyday. After fulfilling your routines in the morning, you start planning what you need to do in a day.
Examples are:
1. Go for lectures
2. Pray
3. Study my book
4. Go for a walk
5. Visit a friend
6. Call family
To-do list are short term, task oriented and usually serve as a reminder of what needs to be done within a given time frame. They help you stay organized and ensure you're not forgetting important things.
Therefore, while goals represent where you want to be in the future, routines and to-do list help you get there.
Routines and to-do list also contribute to fulfilling your goal, but the task to your goals are going to be different from your routine or to-do list.
When setting the steps to your goals, you need to be strategic.
You don't have to set lengthy task to fulfill your goals. Task towards your goals for the day can be 2 or 3. You just make sure to stay committed and focused on your goals.
