Who is a woman of God?
Do you know there is a difference between a Christian woman and a woman of God?
You must be wondering. They are supposed to be the same but actually, they are not. A woman of God is not a Christian woman and a Christian woman is not a woman of God.

The Ladies Conference which was organized and held yesterday was for the purpose of letting every young ones know that they are not just born to be a Christian but they have a purpose on earth. And this is to make them realize that they have to deepen their relationship with God.
Going to church is not just enough, participating is not also enough. We need to deepen our relationship with God because that is what God wants from us.
We will be exploring who a Christian woman is and who a woman of God is.
Note this: You can be a lady or a girl and still be called woman of God. It's not about age, it's about who you are. You get a title when you work on yourself.
WHO IS A CHRISTIAN LADY
1. She is someone who is identified as a Christian.
We were all born into a Christian home. That's our religion. But do you know your religion means nothing? It is your heart that truly matters.
2. She attends church regularly and participate in religious activities.
You can be the most punctual and consistently attend church but not walk in the way of God. You can be a part of the choir, usher, protocols etc and your life can say something else.
3. She focuses on outward appearance and behavior.
A Christian girl will always want to please their pastor but once their pastor are not around where they are, they change to their real being. They please people around, trying to have a good behavior outside but does Christ dwells in them?
4. She prioritize 'being good' over 'being godly'.
A Christian girl don't act on the word of God. They just want to be good they don't want to be godly. They don't want to live their life wholly for God. They want to do what they like, what they want without going extra mile into the word of God.
5. A Christian Lady can be good but not saved.
Our salvation is paramount. You can be good and not be saved. There is a difference. A person who is saved will want to live for Christ always. But if you choose only to be good, you're just deceiving yourself.
6. She may prioritize her relationship with God but also prioritize worldly things.
No one is perfect, they say. A Christian girl puts God and worldly things on the same list. Sometimes she can choose not to spend time with God and decide to spend time with her phone. She is not thinking of influencing others with the word of God around her but she's thinking of what she can gain for herself.
7. A Christian girl often relies on her strength, will power, and emotions to navigate life's challenges.
She doesn't think about going to God first to explain what is going on in her life. She doesn't have complete faith in God. She is easily pressured and fearful. She always have doubt in God whenever she's faced with huge problems. This leads her to rely on her own strength and emotions.
A Christian lady has this characteristics and it must not continue this way. This is the time for every Christian lady to wake up and know their place.
WHO IS A WOMAN OF GOD?
1.She has a deep, personal relationship with God.
She don't just rely on what the pastor says in church. Instead she makes her own finding through the word of God. She is consistent in prayers, seeking to know God more and grow in her relationship with God. She don't joke with her time with God. When it is time for her to pray or study the Bible, she leaves everything she's doing that gives her joy and go spend time with God.
2.She seeks to obey God's words and follow His lead.
She is obedient. She knows what God wants her to do. She doesn't just obey her pastor words like that. She seeks clarification from God. She has a discerning spirit also.
3. She prioritize inner appearance and behavior.
She is not after pleasing people, she wants to please God [1pet 3:3-6]. She wants to live like Jesus, she wants to walk in the way of Jesus. She focuses on building a life of vision, value. Her spiritual journey is very paramount.
4. She tells others about Christ.
She uses her talents, her gifts, her resources to tell other people about Christ. She is not looking for her own personal interests but she's looking for a way she can save others from this world. She serves others, she volunteers, she's determined. That is a woman of God.
5. She demonstrate the fruit of the spirit [Gal 5:22-23]
God doesn't give us the fruit of the Spirit. He gives us the Holy Spirit to help us in demonstrating the fruit of the spirit. If you really want to grow in the fruit of the spirit, you will put in effort by praying, studying the Bible, and getting books that builds your spiritual mindset. Gradually, you'll find yourself thriving to demonstrate the fruit of the spirit.
What are the fruits of the spirit?
Love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
A woman with these fruit is a woman of God.

If you desire to become a woman of God, take these steps:
1. Pray for salvation and sanctification.
2. Set aside time for prayer and Bible study, sticking to your schedule consistently.
3. Choose a role model who follows Christ and can inspire you.
4. Prioritize prayer, aiming to pray for at least an hour daily.
5. Surround yourself with people who encourage your spiritual growth.
6. Volunteer and serve others using your gifts, talents, and resources.
7. Demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit in your daily life.
By following these steps and surrendering your life to God, you can become a woman of God, deeply rooted in your faith and living a life that honors Christ.
Live in such a way that when people look at you, they will see Christ in you.
